Reward for Information on Deadly Fire in Lexington
Suspicious Fire Claims the Life of a Lexington Firefighter
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The bet365 ³ö½ð today announced a reward of up to $2,500 for information on a fire that claimed the life of a Lexington firefighter.
On March 26, the Lexington Fire Department responded to a fire at a vacant house on 306 W. 5th St. While battling the fire, Fire Captain Ronnie Metcalf with the Lexington Fire Department sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to a regional burn center. Captain Metcalf lost his life as a result of those injuries several days later. Investigators believe the fire was intentionally set.
