Rewards Offered in Arson Cases Committed During Civil Unrest
Louisville, Ky. — The bet365 ³ö½ð Louisville Field Division today announced rewards offered for information leading to the arrests of individuals responsible for arson fires and other crime committed during periods of civil unrest, protests, and riots in the Louisville Metro area during the summer and early fall of 2020. bet365 ³ö½ð is offering rewards of up to $5,000 per event for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of persons responsible for the crimes listed below. bet365 ³ö½ð and the Louisville Metro Arson Bureau are conducting the investigations jointly:
- June 1, 2020 intentionally set fire at Dino’s Food Mart located at 2601 West Broadway
- September 23, 2020 Molotov cocktail at Churchill Downs located at 700 Central Avenue
- September 23, 2020 attempted arson at the Hall of Justice located at 6th and Jefferson
- September 24, 2020 attempted arson at the Louisville Free Public Library located at 301 York Street
- September 24, 2020 intentionally set fire at Red Dog Liquors located at 2930 Wilson Avenue
- September 26, 2020 arson of Spalding University vehicle located at the corner of Breckenridge and South 4th Streets
Lastly, law enforcement is requesting information concerning the September 25, 2020 robbery occurring at the Hungry Pelican restaurant located at 5412 Bardstown Road in Louisville. The suspects, armed with handguns, robbed the restaurant and its employees. This investigation is being conducted by LMPD with the assistance of bet365 ³ö½ð and the FBI.
