

Circumstances of Death
On November 18, 1924, Prohibition Agent Theodore Chunn was investigating a still site near Norfolk, VA, when his government automobile skid and crashed into a telephone pole. Agent Chunn was seriously injured. Agent Chunn died the following day from his injuries.
Background
Agent Chunn joined the Prohibition Unit on August 1, 1922, with a starting salary of $1,800. Previously, Agent Chunn proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War I and was assigned to duties with the French Army.
